Single-vision
One power across the lens, for distance or for reading. The everyday lens for most prescriptions.
The glasses are only as good as the prescription behind them. Because we test your eyes and make your lenses under one roof, your spectacles are dispensed accurately and advised honestly, with the full range of frames and lens types, and no pressure to overspend.
Frames are the easy part. The lens inside them is what decides how well you actually see, so this is where honest advice matters most.
Yes. We have an in-house optical with our own dispensing lab, so once the surgeon or optometrist has your accurate prescription, you can choose frames and have your lenses made and fitted here. You're never obliged to buy your glasses from us, you can take your prescription anywhere, but it's there if you'd like the convenience of one trusted place.
All the everyday kinds: single-vision for distance or reading, bifocals, and progressive (no-line) lenses for those who need both. Plus thinner high-index lenses for stronger powers, anti-glare and anti-reflection coatings, blue-light filters for screen use, and photochromic lenses that darken in sunlight. For children, we dispense regular and myopia-control lenses through the myopia clinic.
Because the prescription and the glasses are really one job. When the same place that measured your eyes also makes your lenses, mistakes in transcription, centring and lens choice are far less likely, and if something doesn't feel right, the people who tested you are right there to check it. It also means honest advice on which lens actually suits you, rather than a hard sell on the most expensive option.
No. We'll explain the genuine differences, for example, when a thinner high-index lens is genuinely worth it for a strong power, or when it isn't, and let you decide. The goal is glasses that work well for your eyes and your budget, not the biggest bill.
Yes. Progressive lenses give distance, intermediate and near vision in one lens, with no visible line. They suit many people once reading glasses become a nuisance. We'll talk through whether progressives, bifocals or separate readers fit how you actually use your eyes. See our presbyopia page for the bigger picture.
Yes. We dispense durable children's spectacles and, for a child whose power keeps rising, myopia-control spectacle lenses through our myopia clinic, fitted to the right measurements so they actually do their job.
Spectacles and optical dispensing are generally not covered by insurance, they're an outpatient optical service. We're clear about that. Medical and surgical eye care here may be cashless depending on your policy.
For dispensing you can come during our hours, but if you also need your eyes tested, message us on WhatsApp first so we can plan time for the examination and the glasses together. You're warmly welcome in Himayat Nagar.
