Dr. H. Siva Mohan Reddy is the third generation of his family to care for Hyderabad's eyes. He trained in ophthalmology at the Aravind Eye Institute, Madurai, one of the most respected eye-care institutions in the world for high-volume, high-quality surgery, earning his DO and DNB there, after his MBBS at Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Gulbarga. He has worked in ophthalmology since 2001 and in independent practice since 2006. Across those years he has personally performed more than 40,000 eye surgeries, the kind of experience that lets a careful operation feel unhurried and routine.
His focus is cataract and lens surgery, micro-incision phacoemulsification, the full range of intraocular lenses from monofocal to trifocal and toric, and ICL for vision correction, along with refractive surgery and the assessment that decides whether it's right for you at all.
What patients notice first is simpler than any of that: unhurried, personal attention. He examines you himself, performs your surgery, and sees you through the visits afterwards. He'll tell you honestly what your eyes need, and just as honestly when they don't need surgery yet.
He is a member of the All India Ophthalmological Society, the Telangana and Tamil Nadu societies, the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), and the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO).

His grandfather, Dr. P. Siva Reddy (Padma Shri & Padma Bhushan), founded the hospital in 1975; his father, Dr. H. Prabhakar Reddy, brought in the intraocular-lens revolution, the lineage Dr. Siva Mohan Reddy continues today.
