Cornea
The clear front window. Corneal tomography maps its shape and thickness. It is used to look for keratoconus and to assess suitability for laser surgery.
Lens
Optical biometry measures the eye before cataract surgery, to calculate the power of the replacement lens.
Retina
The light-sensing layer at the back. Ultra-widefield imaging photographs a wide area of it in one frame, and OCT shows its layers in cross-section.

Ultra-widefield retinal camera
Photographs a wide area of the retina in a single capture.
Optical coherence tomography
Cross-section scans of the retina and optic nerve, and OCT angiography, which maps retinal blood flow without a dye injection.
Corneal tomography
Maps the shape and thickness of the cornea. Used to look for keratoconus and to assess suitability for laser surgery.
Image-guided cataract surgery
VERION is an image-guidance system that displays the surgical plan in the operating microscope during cataract surgery. LEGION is the phacoemulsification system.
